Todds Creole Kitchen Logo & Materials

The Challenge

For this project, I was tasked with rebranding the owner’s previous business, Todd Brian’s Brick Street Cafe & Tavern in Old Town, by completely redesigning both the logo and menu. It was an exciting collaboration, with the owner and I exchanging numerous drafts that explored everything from fleur-de-lis motifs and various seafood illustrations to typography-only concepts. After several iterations, we landed on a clean serif typeface paired with a stylized crawfish logo.

Once the branding was finalized, the owner had a clear vision for the menu design: something elegant, clean, and reminiscent of Bourbon Street. I designed multiple menus, including the main dining menu, beer menu, and brunch menu, ensuring each maintained a cohesive look while serving its specific purpose. All final pieces (aside from the banner which was printed by a vendor and the building signage was not done by us) were printed in-house by Broadstroke, Inc.
